Metallisesta leikkuuosasta käytetään yleisesti nimitystä "terä" ja leikkuulankaa sisältävästä kelasta nimitystä "siimapää" tms. "Power head" viittaa tod.näk. tehokkaampaan leikkuu,- raivaus-, tai vastaavaan käyttöön tarkoitettuun terään.
