English to Finnish translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) / plastic
English term or phrase: fluid plastic
Kyseessä on saksankielinen termi "Flüssigkunststoff", joka kääntyy englanninkieliseksi termiksi "fluid plastic". Olisikohan kenelläkään tietoa, voisiko sen kääntää "sulaksi muoviksi" vai onko sillä joku erityinen termi suomen kielessä?

Googelissa ei löytynyt osumia nestemäiselle muoville/nestemuoville...

ensiömuovi

Explanation:
ensiömateriaali (käyttämätön raaka-aine)
is a possible translation for plastic that has hot been injected, although the
German for that is "Primärmaterial", or "Frischmaterial" according to the list in the 1992 dictionary by Muoviyhdistys. I think that "Flüssigkunststoff", if it is the correct term in German, would be better translated "liquid plastic".
