English term or phrase: breaking highs or lows
Hello,
I am translating a website about the application of neural network to stock market forecasting from English into French. Could anyone help me find the French stock market terminology for "breaking highs or lows" as used in the following context:

"There are many ideas for predicting the stock market, some include gradients of maxima or minima points, breaking new highs or lows, buying at certain times of the year and selling at others, inc or dec in volume, or even watching for maxima point to exceed certain angles from the minima points (...)"

Many thanks!

franchir de nouveaux plus hauts ou plus bas
Explanation:
ça ne semble pas très "français" mais c'est bien la terminologie des marchés financiers et de l'analyse technique en particulier.
