The first inclination manoeuvre on Meteosat-8 in June, together with preparations for the commissioning of the second MSG satellite following its launch during the year, were the most important activities in this area. The Meteosat-8 operation was divided in two separated thruster firings, so as to monitor the satellite reaction after the first short firing to better predict the parameters of the second and longer firing.
