Un grand merci à Kevin et à Frankie pour leurs contributions repectives et leurs explications. J'ignorais en effet que sur un GTP, l'hélice passait en drapeau lors de la coupure d'alimentation carburant. J'en étais resté aux moteurs à pistons.

Je ne dispose pas de beaucoup de contexte malheureusement. Néanmoins, il ne s'agit pas d'un avion de tourisme. Il s'agit soit de réacteurs soit de turboprop. Pour les réacteurs, sauf avis contraire avisé, il n'y pas de mise en drapeau d'hélice. Sur un turboprop, les manettes hélice et carburant, sauf avis contraire avisé, sont toujours distinctes. Enfin, il s'agit d'un contrôle du circuit carburant lors d'un entretien au sol. La question demeure: que signifie "feather" dans le cas d'alimentation ou de coupure d'alimentation de carburant?
Mais ce serait aimable, si possible, de nous indiquer s'il s'agit d'une situation de panne moteur, d'une manip de contrôle en roulage, ou d'une opération d'essai d'un avion de plaisance...
To make it clear and to avoid any misunderstanding, this is not a question about prop feathering. I am only questionning about a "fuel-feather lever" and more precisely about the meaning of "feather".
Il s'agit d'alimenter ou de ne pas alimenter en carburant un réacteur. "feather" pourrait-il signifier "gavage" ?
May we have some more context please?
I do have an inkling about "feather lever" but cannot yet understand what "fuel" is supposed to mean.
