Je suppose que même si l'on est en Angleterre, ça cause pas d'aviron, mais qu'il s'agit de mettre l'herbe en rangées avant d'en faire des balles.

Andaineur
Un andaineur est une machine agricole qui sert à mettre en andain le foin ou la paille. L'utilisation de cette machine remonte à la seconde révolution industrielle. L'andaineur était alors tracté par les animaux de trait (chevaux ou bœufs). Puis par des tracteurs agricoles aujourd'hui.
La machine est constituée de rateaux qui tournent autour d'un axe fixe. Les rateaux par leurs mouvements ramènent le fourrage en ligne continue qui est appelé « andain », pour pouvoir être ramassé par une presse à fourrage.
