On remarque qu’avec l’aubergine (nasu), la patate douce violette (beni-imo), le curcuma pourpre, l’oignon rouge, l’ail noir, le riz violet et la pittaya pourpre, les Okinawaïens ont une prédilection pour les aliments de ces teintes.
