Architecture / description of a house and it's surroundings | | English term or phrase: water features | In a document describing a couple's home in detail in order to determine if it will be suitable for them to have adopted children living there:
"A unique feature of the home is that there is a separate area attached to the side of the house which can be used as an office. Their backyard is large and half fenced. There are no water features in the yard."
From experience with these documents, I believe they are referring to the fact that there is no swimming pool or sprinkler system, and there are no swampy areas or "water-related" things that could possibly make the area unsafe for children playing back there. |
