Yes, Eleonore, that's probably right, an independent building attached to no other.There is a free-standing' style of architecture, called 'prostyle', which means buildings with tall independent columns (and I found this too:Prostyle est un terme architectural désignant les temples (notamment grecs et romains) n'ayant qu'une seule rangée de colonnes en façade.
