Linda Nochlin a écrit ces mots dans l'article (en lien) sur la Biennnale de Venise de 2005.
Elle est certainement connue mais de là à penser qu'il y aurait une traduction officielle, j'en doute.
Et si l'article a été traduit ou en partie repris et cité, il peut l'avoir été façon légèrement différente.
Ce qui vous laisse la liberté de la citer "entre guillemets" avec vos propres mots mais qui ne devraient pas fort varier d'une traduction à une autre.

J'ai opté pour "sorte", pour coller à "kinds of art", qui n'est pas facile à traduire. Peut-être à affiner selon le contexte : genre, forme, style...
