... on what you mean! Try saying that sentence with different emphases, and you will see that it could mean a number of things:
"I actually hung it on the wall" - Me and not somebody else.
"I actually hung it on the wall" - What a difficult and daring thing to do! Or, even though I thought it was dreadful, unsuitable ... .
"I actually hung it on the wall" - Rather than prop it against the wall.
"I actually hung it on the wall" - As above.
"I actually hung it on the wall" - Rather than elsewhere. |
