"C'était Sean reprenant une partie de son personnage, essayant de capter une partie de son humour, puis reprenant avec une sorte de soulagement de le voir s'éloigner."
Pour "building" on pourrait aussi utiliser "entrer dans la peau" plutôt que "reprendre", mais ici apparemment la phrase utilise "building" pour entrer dans la peau du personnage comme pour revenir dans la sienne!
