Or, as in the version I have: "Voici le temps venu", annonça (déclara) le Morse, "De nous entretenir de bien des choses (de parler de maintes choses): De chaussures, de vaisseaux et de cire à cacheter De choux et de souverains"... (I tried to keep the "sh" and "s" sounds present in the poem, while preserving the original words, but these are just suggestions, and you may wish stray further to keep the feeling and the rythm of the lines.)
