In technical documents, in decreasing order of preference :
"feature" usually means prominent or special part of something (here a car) --> 1) particularité 2) caractéristique 3) fonction

"specification = (naming) --> spécification
= (stipulation) --> stipulation(s)
= (detailed description) --> spécifications généralement au pluriel (sauf exceptions ...)

In French texts "fonctionnalité" is often used, as"style recherché" instead of "fonction" but with the same meaning.
"fonctionnalité" should be reserved to the meaning "caractère fonctionnel" of something.
