xxx launched its’ xxx model, as the company’s first foray into the xxx category, taking on the likes of xxx.

Nous sommes dans le domaine automobile, lancement d'un nouveau modèle. Je croyais que c'était dans le sens de "affronter" tel autre modèle dans la catégorie mais il me semble que les modèles nommés (que je ne peux dévoiler ici pour des raisons de confidentialité) ne sont pas comparables.
