las photos qu'on voit dans Google à l'article "aptera" montrent qu'il s'agit de bras transversaus dans ce cas précis. (qui sont à distinguer des bras des suspensions à bras longitudinaux, par exemple à bras tirés) Je trouve que "stalk", qui signifie en premier lieu tige de fleur, queue de fruit, pédoncule etc, évoque une tige qui part perpendiculairement d'une branche et qui porte à son extrémité une fleur ou un fruit, comme les bras transversaux portent les roues de l'Aptera.
