Mais cette belle mécanique demeure un mystère pour moi :

Un système de freinage principal, un frein d'urgence secouru / épaulé par une batterie rechergeable ...

Et ce frein d'urgence comment est-il alimenté ? ou actionné ?

  -> It goes without saying that I intended to write "le frein .....est soutenu par .. " meanwhile corrected my entry.
