Explanation:
Mon interprétation (hasardeuse mais poétique !) littéralement "water strider" veut dire "saute-ruisseau", soit dans l'ancien vocabulaire du commerce, le "garçon de courses" qu'on envoie occasionnellemnt en ville pour porter ou rapporter un article inhabituel, celui qui court sur les trottoirs et saute les caniveaux pour se dépécher Ici, il s'agit de "bulky items" qu'on n'a à transporter qu'occasionnellement, pour lesquels il n'a été prévu de moyens de transport organisés. On envoie alors pour l'occasion une personne ou une équipe ou un véhicule pour faire le transport.
