je traduis un texte parlant de constrction de hot rods. À partir d'une carrosserie d'une vieille voiture et de pièces dénichées un peu partout, une équipe de fous de voitures construit un hot rod.
Dans la phrase suivante, je n'arrive pas à tout traduire :
"For the rear wheels, it will be white wall drag slicks on a pair of 15 by ten American magnesium wheels."
Je sais que "slicks" signifie "pneus lisses" mais je ne comprend pas le début de l'expression. |
