Il s'agit de la description d'une chaîne de montage de voitures. Je recherche quelque chose qui a le sens de « smooth ». Malheureusement, en français, « doucement » peut vouloir dire lentement, ce qui serait faux.

suggestion... ça peut aussi bien être rapide que lent, mais en tout cas ça donne une impression de régularité, de succession, de "machine bien huilée", de système "qui roule". Voilà...

tous les jours, 2000 camrys, avallons et solaras passent en cabine pour être peintes...

Explication : glisser ne me semble pas exactement convenir. Cela peut convenir si les voitures sont amenées sur un pont roulant, mais elles peuvent aussi être amenées sur un treuil (voir contexte).

Autre option : sont amenées, sont convoyées
