"Cash allowance" :

Il s'agit d'une allocation de fonds pour les employés d'une société ayant conclu un accord d'approvisionnement avec un fabricant automobile.
Les employés se rendent au concessionnaire de la marque et peuvent acheter ou louer eux-mêmes le véhicule de fonction avec la somme qui leur a été accordée par leur société dans ce but.

Vu le montant considéré, il ne s'agit pas d'argent liquide mais plutôt d'une somme disponible immédiatement dans un but précis.

Explanation:
Idée, si "cash allowance" se réfère spécifiquement à l'achat/location d'une voiture (on trouve aussi "car allowance")

Ma société veut mettre en place un systeme de "car allowance" (prime de voiture) dans sa filliale française , comme elle le fait dans les autres pays où nous sommes implantés. Le montant de cette prime sera fixe et en fonction du poste.
Comme cette notion de "car allowance" n'existe pas vraiment en France, la société exterieure chargé de la comptabilité propose de la mettre en pratique en la considérant comme la mise à disposition d'une voiture de fonction en leasing , qui sera payée non pas à une société de location, mais a l'employé lui même, charge à l'employé d'utiliser cette argent comme bon lui semble pour financer sa voiture.
