Termium donne ces deux termes (sans compter "sur l'erre", qui est en fait plus précis). Le sens est clair: rouler sans que l'accélérateur ne soit enfoncé. Le concept est sans doute mons utilisé en français, et il est clairement difficile à rendre ici. On trouve aussi "marche en prise gaz coupés" qui est peut-être le terme le plus approprié ici. |

"Bonne observation, je pense que c’est pour les gens qui veulent faire du « coasting », c’est a dire faire un max de km avec une charge. Dans les descentes douces, par exemple, il vaut peut-etre mieux n’avoir aucune recuperation d’energie quand on lache la pedale d’accelerateur."
