Automotive / Cars & Trucks
English term or phrase: Bruno curb side lift
While the van prescription outlined the costs for hand controls, a foldout power ramp, kneeling suspension and six-way captain’s chair that allowed for wheelchair entry and transfer to the driver’s seat, he purchased a van equipped with hand controls and a “Bruno curb side lift” only. The curb side lift was subsequently removed as he described it more as a hindrance than a help. His stated preference is to manually swing the wheelchair into the van and, on days when his shoulders are painful, he disassembles the wheelchair to facilitate easier loading.

-> Si, mon van a un coffre. Onl'appelle comme ça en France, en tout cas, même si ça n'a pas la même forme que les petites voitures.
