English to French translations [PRO] Science - Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) / marine biology
English term or phrase:les than c. 10%
If intact donor colonies are used as a source of fragments for either direct transplantation or a period of culture followed by transplantation, then the limited research suggests that only a small part of the colony ///(less than c.10%)/// should be excised in order to minimise stress to the donor colony.
Document dealing with reef restauration, this particular part deals with fragment used as transplants.
It is the "c." that puzzles me.
Thanks for your help.
