disagree  liz askew: Sorry to disagree but I don't think this conveys "putative" accurately. Just look up any dictionary to define putative...= "supposed", //I am only commenting on "putative". You need to take up your comment about "biologiquement" with the others.

Explanation:
ou des molécules putatives ? là, je ne saurais trancher.
Par contre, plus je relis la phrase, plus j'ai l'impression que putative qualifie les molécules et non l'activité biologique. Ou alors l'anglais n'est pas correct. Pour évoquer une activité biologique éventuelle, on devrait avoir putatively biologically active, non ?
