English term or phrase: **fid
it's very specific, from a botanical description. I cannot access websites for the moment, the lines are crowded maybe.
Context : "Flower : corolla deep red-purple, glandular hairy, with wide tube and 2 lips 1-3 cm long, upper lip erect, broadly rounded, lower lip patent, rounded, **3-fid**"
My dictionary gives "cale" or "coin" or even "épissoire" so that's not the context at all.

Oui, merci beaucoup pour le glossaire surtout, car les miens étaient surtout français.
Mais à propos de la traduction proposée, il me reste quand même un doute, car
je trouve partout dans les autres descriptions le terme "lobed", ce qui me fait penser qu'il
s'agissait là de qqch de plus spécifique. Si vous avez un autre éclair de génie...
