|English term or phrase: nonservicing account|
Types of bank accounts.
Servicing accounts and nonservicing accounts. Does anyone know what this means and how you would say "nonservicing accounts" French? Thanks

|French translation:compte dormant, compte inactif|
I agree with Alekos explanation here above, servicing and non servicing accounts refer to management not to a specific type of account.
However in French a non servicing account is called "compte dormant/ compte inactif" = an account not managed, where no transactions are posted
servicing account = an account that is managed

compte de non-entretien
Actually, there is a "compte d'entretien" (servicing account), an account that is serviced, attended to. So, "nonservicing" (althogh it is not an established term) refers to the opposite: An account which is unattended, not serviced.
