see below Explanation: Gievn your spelling of center ("er" not "re") I assume that your context is US. A search on the US Treasury Search engine indicates that these are single locations which group together shared service environments with state of the art tools and facilities. See webref below, from which the first two pages will probably give you enough info. Next problem now that we know what it is, is to how to translate it : "centre de services regroupés" Reference: http://www.ustreas.gov/cgi-bin/AT-allsearch.cgi |

clarification of previous webrefs Explanation: US TREASURY SITE REFS : www.ustreas.gov/tigta/reports/200020089es.html (an assessment of internal revenue's services plans to transition software developmenbt centres to shared server centers) AND www.ustreas.gov/hrspo/overview.html (about the streamlining of human resources). These were found and were accessible through the US TREASURY search engine but not directly via the previous URL I indicated which was erroneous. Hope this helps. see body of explanation |

Centres de services partagés Explanation: This seems to be the term used in French. " (http://www.cga-canada.org/fr/magazine/may00/Learn2Share_f.ht... By the way, "share service centre" seems to be the same as "shared service centre": "Shared Service Center on Northside Drive The Shared Service Center on Northside Drive in Macon has recently been converted to a Shared Service Center Outlet operated by Robins Federal Credit Union. HSE Credit Union members may continue to use this location as a "branch" for convenience purposes. Remember that you must have your credit union member number in order to transact business at any Share Service Center or Outlet. " (http://www.hsecu.org/pages/news.html) Also: "Shared Service Center Outlets are credit unions that accept transactions from members of other credit unions like yours. You are still a member of your credit union, but you have more flexibility in where you can do business - it's like having access to additional branches. A Shared Service Center Outlet is an extension of your credit union. In many cases, different credit unions band together to make sure that, whether you’re on the road for business or pleasure, or just across town, you have access to your credit union accounts."
