La seule façon de comprendre la phrase.
Dans un commerce, il est usuel (ou selon les pays, même obligatoire) de faire un inventaire des articles qui seront mis en solde.
Ce n'est donc pas nécessairement l'inventaire de clôture d'exercice (annuel) mais qui peut être fait deux fois par an (été, hiver, ou plus si les législations les autorisent).
