the sentence runs as foll"A network of private clients interested in higher risk active investments"

This is a text talking about Business angels and this portion refers to clients who are interested in investing in certain businesses.
The actual term that I cannot find is "ACTIVE" investments. Would one just say "investissements actifs à risque élevé? or is there another term in French. Because I cannot imagine what a passive investment would be!
