Je cherche le détail de ce à quoi correspond ce terme ainsi qu'une traduction.
Il apparaît dans le chapitre d'un guide de voyage consacré à la location de voiture.

Explanation:
I don't think there is any special term in French ... a most American concept, that if there is something available when you show up at the last moment, we'll give you a deal. Sort of "tarif d'ocassion" or "tarif d'hasard" - those might be other possibilities.
