Bonjour à tous,

je suis entrain de traduire un diplome en français mais je ne trouve pas l'équivalent de l'expression ci-dessus. Il me semble que cette expression est consacrée principalement aux américains et anglais et que le système français n'a pas affaire à ce genre de diplôme...

Voici l'original:

In France apperently only the IEP (Institut des etudes politiques) attributes a cum laude honor.
Universities aswell as schools attribute honors with expressions like: Mention très bien, Mention bien, Mention Assez bien...

"bachelor" is not a "master" is not "une licence", but an "undergraduate degree", un "baccalauréat".
Une license c'est quatre ans d'université. Un "bachelor's degree" c'est trois ans.
Et c'est encore plus vrai depuis le décret de Bologne.

"Bachelor of Arts (B.A. or A.B.), from the Latin artium baccalaureus, is a bachelor's degree awarded for an undergraduate course or programin either the liberal arts, the sciences, or both. Bachelor of Arts degree programs generally last three to four years depending upon the country, academic institution, and specific majors or minors."
