je pense que "paucity" ne prend pas le sens de manque mais plutot le sens "peu". En fait le produit ne suscite pas beaucoup de littérature car il y a comme un consensus général de sa faible toxicité basé sur les données des authorités de régulation et par l'usage qu'il en est fait depuis longtemps.
