English term or phrase: Ident laybacks & mastering

This is my final question.

I have put them together because it helps to give context. It might well be it is two terms.

This is an edit description. It is part of the process of editing idents for a TV channel. idents are the little films you see that tell you it is a tv channel, in UK we have ones for Channel 4 and BBC that everyone will recognise.

Can anyone help me?
