Deux fonctions distinctes ici, patrol qui a le sens de vérifier et scrub qui est la correction d'erreur. Ce n'est pas une fonction automatique mais périodique.

Comme c'est de l'interface utilisateur, vaut mieux mettre l'anglais et le français entre parenthèses mais je pense que c'est assez proche car j'ai trouvé pas mal de hit de 'vérification et correction d'erreur de la mémoire' dans ce contexte...

Explanation:
Je ne suis pas sur du sens de patrol>/i> ici ... ce n'est donc u'une suggestion, sur la base du § ci-dessous trouvé dans un Intel Product Brief (cf website):
"Demand and patrol scrubbing proactively searches the system
memory, repairing correctable errors or permanently marking the
memory location as unreadable"

Ce qui semble opposer demand à patrol ... est-ce que patrol serait dans le sens de "automatique" ? Sachant qu'on peut ensuite ajuster la fonction nettoyage automatique, soit à intervalles réguliers, soit quand un certain niveau de mémoire est atteint.
