The target item is first dipped or sprayed with DACRODIP® solution, a water-based dispersant, before DACROTIZED® treatment is applied through a baking process. The treatment resulting from this process gives the treated part improved corrosion resistance. Further, the coating process does not result in hydrogen embrittlement, a common weakness of electroplating processes.
