vis à tête bi-hexagonale
Explanation:
I don't know if that's any help, but it seems that even in EN they are often referred to like this, and I haven't found anything else in FR. I don't quite know why they refer to them as '12 point', but I suppose if they have 12 sides, they also have 12 angles!

Here's a rather 'informal' site where the type of screw is discussed:

http://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/12-valve-engine-tr...

Here's another (UK, translated > FR) site that refers to them as having "12 pans":

Hydrobolt
Vis à tête hexagonale et Vis entièrement filetées; Tiges filetées; Produits à 12 pans (" Ferry Head"); Têtes à formes spéciales; Pieces usinées de précision ...

www.hydrobolt.co.uk/french/products.htm

Ah yes, if you visit the above site, they also describe them as 'bi-hexagonal', which word seems to be used in EN and FR

Vis “Countr-Bor" [ou vis à tête (de Ferry)]

Explanation:
Tony answered while I was gathering my references but it appears that we are talking about the same head screw. It is a specialty screw made by the company Ferry. A Canadian company gives it the name "vis 'countr-bor,'" after what the Ferry company calls it. These screws are a type of "vis à tête" or socket cap (or head) screw.

The Ferry Cap & Set Screw Company specializes in the manufacture of cold-headed, high-strength, precision fasteners. Founded in 1906, Ferry Cap is still headquartered at its original site at the top of Cleveland's historic Flats district, and is now a division of Doncasters.

Since the 1950's, Ferry Cap has pioneered and expanded the use of the Countr-bor screw in worldwide industrial applications as a superior alternative and replacement of the **socket-head cap screw.** For nearly 30 years Ferry Cap was the only fastener manufacturer to maintain a complete packaged goods inventory of this product, serving hundreds of fastener distributors and OEM customers worldwide. Ferry Cap is an approved supplier for such notable companies as Caterpillar Tractor, International Truck and Engine, Detroit Diesel, Cummins Engine, Dana, John Deere, and Mack Trucks.

agree  Proelec: With many thanks for gathering all informations. I always think all screw-related translations often are "un vrai casse-tête".But in this tile of globalization, i'll support Tony's view, because it is in line with a large use in aeronautics.

-> Thank you, proelec. Ferry Cap makes this screw hence the name.

agree  Claire Chapman: :-)//Based on the info at my second ref., all Ferry Cap screws are twelve sided and are interchangeable with socket head cap screws. See Ferry’s blurb about their exclusivity.

-> Thanks, Claire! Nice research! (though I think the CountrBor is only one subset of the general type)

agree  Proelec: For this translation because of a larger use essentially in international in aeronautics.
