Bonjour mes chers confrères traducteurs, j'ai traduit ce mot composé par chargé de dettes dans la phrase suivante: The 20-store chain, which is 45% owned by debt-burdened Quantum Records, could come to the market as early as next month.

Explanation:
Familièrement, on dirait "criblé de dettes". Ici, je tournerais la phrase différemment: "...détenue à hauteur de 45% par Quantum Records, entreprise elle-même fortement endettée...", par exemple.

En Français, je tends à remplacer "compagnie" par "société" ou "entreprise". Autrement, no problem...:-)

Asker: merci John de ta suggestion. Bon moi j'ai traduit toute la phrase ainsi:La chaîne de 20 magasins, dont 45% du capital est détenu par la compagnie lourdement endettée Quantum Records, pourrait être lancée sur le marché dès le mois prochain. Qu'en penses-tu?

Asker: John c'est tout à fait exact company se traduit par société ou entreprise en Français!
