English term or phrase: Effort grades

Explanation:
"A Comprehensive Directory of Private Schools

In addition to academic grades, **Effort grades** are given for class participation, preparation, and an effort to master the material and allow both students and parents to monitor and increase academic success. Students may also receive one of four levels of honors recognition at the end of each trimester."

Effort & Standards Codes
Effort Code K - 4

These marks are used to indicate a student’s effort:

E = Exceptional Effort
S = Satisfactory Effort
N = Needs improvement in Effort

The “EFFORT GRADE,” E, S, or N is written directly below the overall grade. The effort grade does not reflect or factor in behavior. The effort grade is based on a student’s attempt
to complete the task.

Evaluation et aptitudes me semblent donc trop 'larges'
