I would like to know the best way to translate this request into French, using polite, formal language.

"Would it be possible for me to attend..." aux séances plénières de cette journée?

or another way to put it: "I would like to attend (les séances plénières de cette journée), would this be possible?

Or if you want to attend but not actually take part I would use the verbs
‘être présent aux’.. or ‘assister aux’...
Ie : ‘J’aimerais être présent aux..., serait-ce possible ?’
