But no-one doubts that the term 'circuit breaker' exists, and that 'CB' can be used as an abbreviation of it; Transmidi's refs. provide no further relevant explanations, but as I say, I believe there is more to this than at first meets the eye...

...as is commonly used in the US, where a load can be connected across 2 of the 3 phases to get a higher voltage, which is then 'balanced' centrally about 'ground'.

Like our colleague hendiadys, I too have serious doubts that it would stand for 'circuit-breaker', which doesn't fit well here at all. But with the odd volltage, and the fact that it is different from 'ordinary' AC, I wonder if it means 'centre balanced'

Je ne vois que des alimentations. Généralement, quand on parle de disjoncteur, on donne sa sensibilité ou son courant de déclenchement (en ampères)... ça me fait donc tiquer.

La phrase est The Motor is available with 2 power supplies: 90 – 250V AC/260V AC CB as well as 24V DC.
Je pense donc qu'il s'agit bien de "disjoncteur" ici, non ?

Si je pose la question, c'est eu égard à cet exemple 'Modular Power Supply 115~120 Vac/200~240 Vac CB, CE, FCC, CSA, UL', où CB ne veut manifestement pas dire Circuit Breaker, mais Certification Body...
