| | avec commutateur 8 Ohm / 70 V (pour les applications professionnelles) | Explanation: It's important to note that ONLY the '70 V' feature applies to commercial installations.
In practice, 'switchable' means it has a switch, which is the way I think it would be best to express it in FR.

As François suggests, 'sélecteur' would be better than commutateur

'70 volt / 100 volt line' applications (i.e. high impedance, rather than low impedance @ 8 Ohm) is a sound distribution system used for professional/industrial applications — the use of high-impedance (high voltage / low currrent) means that cable losses are reduced, so thinner-gauge conductors can be used, and cable runs can be longer. This is useful in larger installations with multiple speaker positions, as are often used for background music and public address systems in lareg buildings like offices and factories.
Note that although such installations may INCLUDE shop / retail premises (shopping centres, supermarkets, etc.), 'commercial' in this context should not be read as relating specifically to 'commerce' (as in FR), but simply any usage that is not 'domestic' |
