Since everybody is so kind and helpful, here i am again... with another question. The whole sentence is : Phase label format assigned to the outputs, and i am wondering how i should translate "label" in this context. Thanks again to everyone.

Hard to be sure, since we can't see how it fits in with the surrounding text; but this certanly might be one possibility, assuming we are indeed talking about mains supply phases, of course!

Yes, that's perfect, now all is suddenly completely clear!

These are all different ways of identifying the 3 phases in a 3-phase power system, and clearly this option allows you to set which type of labelling you choose.

I can't say for sure that 'repérage' is the right term, but it is used a lot for things like physically marking cables, so this related, albeit 'virtual' application would seem to be comparable.

Otherwise, you might consider simply 'marquage' or 'identification'

Of course, don't forget that what is being set with this parameter is the FORMAT of this labelling
