Le mot "rod" signifie tige, baguette; pas des liaison avec "road"= chemin, route .
Par example on peut utiliser cette expression quand on parle d'une surface delimitee par des baguette lumineuses, pas seulement dans le le domaine routier .
"Dispositif lumineux sous forme de tige/baguette/baton" - si ça va mieux dans le texte. Agree with "baton lumineux".
