Wait until the manometer displays that the vapour air pressure is at least below 0.5 atm then open the discharging tap (drw 1 - ref. 4). When finishing discharge, close the tap.

agree  Elisabeth Vandezande: Je ne suis pas certaine que ce soit la vapeur qu'il faille vidanger. Pour vidanger l'eau, il faut d'abord faire descendre la pression dans le vase d'expansion. Mais la traduction me paraît correcte (vidanger la chaudière)

purge de/du ... (voir explication)


Explanation:
A replacer dans le contexte : "chaudière" n'est pas automatiquement lié à "boiler" (autre possibilité : chauffe-eau, ...).
On parlera souvent de vidange d'une chaudière, mais aussi de purge d'un chauffe-eau, ...
Etant donné que la pression descend sous 1/2 atmosphère, il est évident qu'il s'agit de purger le liquide (pas nécessairement de l'eau)
