Explanation:
It's not bizarre, it's just standard electrical techie-talk.

'make' means when a contact is closed (as distinct from 'break' when it is opened). Switch and relay contacts are usualyl capable of 'making' a higher current than they can break, since no current is flowing at the outset; however, once the current is flowing, breaking the circuit by opening the contacts may lead to arcing, hence why most switches etc. have a lower 'break' current than their 'make' current.

Yes, now 'font' is indeed bizarre! That's clearly a mis-translation by someone who doesn't know the first thing about electrical engineering!

However, I'm not THAT sure of the FR term, as used in specifications like this; but it should be easy enough to research, given how common this kind of specification is out there on the 'Net.
