I can´t figure out how to render this expression elegantly in French.
Unfortunately this is all the context: Nominal voltage (of the through-running cable)

I've thought of "câble de passage"; "câble de connexion directe", but I'm not quite sure they are 100% equivalent.

Any idea is most welcome!

I don't have sufficient information on the system to be sure this is the proper translation but I'm almost sure my suggestion is the right one.

this the principle of the current transformer:

the cable passes through the transformer.
I believe that both "câble traversant" and "câble passant" are appropriate translations.
