English to French translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Rolling stock | | English term or phrase: manual coupler | Il s'agit d'un raccord avec de multiples pôles pour transmettre un courant de commande ou de la haute tension/intensité entre des véhicules (trains en général).
Ici, 'manual' exprime le fait qu'une personne doit connecter le raccord à la main, par opposition à des raccords qui s'emboitent tout seuls sans intervention humaine.
Est-ce qu'un spécialiste de ce genre de matériel connait le terme consacré ? Je pencherais pour "raccord manuel", mais je n'ai pas trouvé suffisamment de références pour être convaincu.
