Un peu de contexte:
"The housings consists of cover, operation mechanism, fastener and lock staple.
The housing socket/blind socket and the plug are of a plastic coated alloy."
(il s'agit de la description d'un raccord haute tension avec boitier en aluminium).
Je soupçonne que le "housing" dans la seconde phrase n'a pas la même signification que dans la première (boîtier du connecteur pour la première phrase). Le client me précise en effet que "The couplings socket are normally directly at the vehicle wall.".
Le second 'housing' pourrait donc exprimerer le fait que la prise est logée dans la paroi.

| Grading comment C'est le terme que j'ai choisi. Je cherche encore des références :) C'était peut-être une traduction mot-à-mot de l'allemand.
