Je cherche une traduction pour "split pin" dans la phrase "Fit the washer and a new split pin to each tailgate lift pin". Est-ce que "goupille fendue" irait ?

disagree  DanielT: Une goupille n'est pas nécessairement fendue. Traduire "split pin" par "goupille" introduirait une imprécision qui n'est pas dans le texte d'origine. De plus il y aurait risque de confusion car ici la goupille fendue s'insère dans une autre goupille.

agree  FX Fraipont: goupille fendue - c'est vrai qu'on appelle ça souvent "goupille", mais il vaut mieux spécifier.
